Kailie's Awesome Cousins

We were so lucky to have the Fultons come for a recent visit - as always we just love having family come see us in Bermuda as it makes us feel just a bit closer to home:)

It would be impossible to pinpoint one highlight of this trip, except to say that the over-riding highlight was watching Evan, Mae & Kailie interact. Kailie just adored her older cousins and they were SO great with her. It certainly brought back many fond memories of growing up with my cousins and the relationships I had with them as kids and I know Kailie and her cousins will have many years of making some wonderful memories together.

A few of the high notes were:

- The superstar brother & sister team of D&J Matthews running the Bermuda Day Marathon! They both did an amazing run and kept their fans very excited to watch:) Dorelle did edge out Joel when it came time to vote for fan favorite though as she did stop for kisses and hugs for her littlest fans along the way ;-)

- Kailie probably got to spend more time at the beach over the 10 days that the Fultons were here than she's spent there the whole time we've lived in Bermuda! Mummy & Daddy really need to get her out more as she loved it!

- Joel really spoiled us all by arranging an afternoon spent on a boat where we got to go and explore our very own private island. Kailie is still talking about how she went swimming in the ocean with the fishies :)

- There was just so much playtime to be had, it was fun to see some imaginary pirate play, lots of fun in the pools, crazy bed-time antics, some serious hockey in the living room, a couple ice cream stops and much more!

Thanks so much Fulton's for taking the time to come and see us here, it's a trip we'll never forget and that I know Kailie will be talking about for a very long time!

Lots of Love - JKK?

And of course here are some pic's of all the fun we had:)

Although they are getting older, getting these 3 cute monkeys together for a picture with all them looking is still more of a challenge than you would think!

I couldn't resist adding this pic - my crazy kid and her many camera faces:)

Little Buds!

Story time was a lot more fun with the cousins!

Princess Mae

Move over Crosby!
We will never really know who had more fun with this game - Evan or Uncle Joel ;)

Our house was filled with all kinds of sweet giggles when these two got up to something!

A great afternoon on the boat.

Uncle Tyler exploring our beach.

Swimming with the fish (literally - just ask Dorelle)!

Hi Daddy

Captain Kailie

The backyard waterslide - a BIG thanks to Uncle Tyler for all his help getting this set up and running:)

One of our afternoons at the Fairmont pool - Kailie LOVED keeping up with her older cousins!

The super star runners with their best cheerleaders!

Auntie Dorelle - smiling every time we saw her!

Here comes Daddy!!

. . . see - still smiling!

The patiently waiting cheer leading squad:)
