I know we are knee-deep into Christmas, and the build-up to
this Christmas has been incredible, starting off with a fantastic trip to
Orlando and followed up but all kinds of 4-year-old fun and games that are
involved as Christmas approaches. I
can’t wait to blog about all that, but first in order to keep some
chronological order to this I must do this blog first! Much more to come very soon!!
Now back to October and November . . . .
In the span of just two days we had a lot going on! As Kailie gets older and is now really
understanding special days / birthdays etc there is a lot of excitement in our
house when these special occasions come around.
This year for Halloween Kailie was pretty insistent on
Kolton being Super Baby which he pulled off pretty good as he’s always trying
to fly! We were hoping Kailie might be a
matching Super Girl but there was no talking her out of being a BumbleBee – so
our little Superhero’s side kick was a Bumblebee! Halloween Day itself was very busy as it
started off with an Orange Party at Kailie’s school, followed by a quick change
into her costume and we all headed to Joel’s office for the kids Halloween
party where they were treated to an office candy hunt, food, fun and games, and
a lot of cute costumes . . . and it wasn’t just the little kids, the big kids
joined in the fun too and as it turned out Joel won the prize for Best Costume
for Adults (see pic below)!
Right from the office party we headed for Melville which is a neighborhood here in Bermuda that is perfect for trick-or-treating and pretty much everyone knows it and goes there! Brooke, Madison and Kailie did fantastic this year and had a great time going door-to-door while the rest of us all tried to keep track of Kolton!! He did his very best to keep up with the big kids but it didn’t always work out that well – he ended up in houses, bushes, decorations and running through yards – it was a workout for everyone but very fun to be a part of!! That night we had a bit of fun playing the "Switch-Witch" with Kailie - it was a fun kids poem about a (good!) witch who has a nasty cat that will only eat candy, so if you left out some candy for the cat at bed time the Switch-Witch would leave a pressie in return. Kailie happily gave up most of her candy and was in turn rewarded with a great big lovely puzzle (and a very happy Mommy & Daddy)! ;-)

The next day we woke up to Daddy’s Birthday and Kailie
ensures that birthday celebrations around here are always full of singing and
pressiesJ We had a great day celebrating Joel and then
a few days after all the family partying Mommy and Daddy even had a special
night out where Daddy was treated to a Chef competition here in Bermuda that we
adults all very much enjoyed.
Here is the proof of all the fun we had ;-)
Our own little Super-Baby!
And a Pretty Little BumbleBee!
Flying - one of Kolton's favorite pastimes!
Little Halloween Cuties!
Kailie dug right in this year, it was the first year I didn't have to clean out the pumpkin!
Our proud little Pumpkin with her Kitty Pumpkin!!
We had a great time doing this one together:)

The finished product!
Best-Dressed Daddy!!
Kailie and Myla enjoying nerds for the first time ever - they weren't too sure about them!
The decorations around the neighborhood we went to were amazing - this drago was made by the people who lived at this house specifically for pictures - they had TONS of stuff around their place!
He tried . . . .
and he tried . . . .
and he tried to keep up!!!
It was a good thing he had the bright red cape on as it made it a lot easier to keep tabs on our little Superhero!
This was the best pic we got of the 4 of them!
Happy Birthday Daddy!!
Family (PJ) celebrations are just the best:)
